Jacobus Vanderveer House and Museum
The Jacobus Vanderveer House and Museum. When the museum opens in 2009, the Vanderveer House will display artifacts excavated during an archaeological dig at the Pluckemin encampment site, which is now surrounded by The Hills housing development. The museum will also interpret Dutch colonial life in America and the stay by General Knox and his family.

Pluckemin Village
Pluckemin Village was settled in the early 1700s and played a significant role during the Revolutionary War. The main street of Pluckemin is Route 202-206 which can be reached from exit 22 and 22A off Interstate 287. This village has many old historical sites including The Boylan House, The Pluckemin Presbyterian Church and General Knox's Lane.  The village also hosted The Grand Alliance Ball of 1779 which is re-enacted every one hundred years.
